Chasys Photo provides an API interface via which it can communicate with Generative AI engines, both offline and online. To maximize flexibility and compatibility, this is a generic interface that is not tied to any particular AI model. Generative AI plug-ins provide this final link, acting as bridges that connect Chasys Photo to specific online or offline AI models and coordinating communications and interworking.
How do I use Generative AI Plug-ins?
To use Generative AI plug-ins, choose a tool or an option that is AI-capable the select the appropriate “Use AI” or “Generative AI” option. If the operation in question requires you to type instructions for the AI engine (this is called an AI “prompt”), you will be presented with a dialog box where you can do that.
You will then be presented with a dialog box where you can select the Generative AI plug-in to use. If the AI engine implemented by the plug-in requires configuration such as the provision of an API key, the plug-in will display a configuration dialog box where you can do so. Once this is done, the AI engine will be triggered to do the requested operation.
Running AI engines requires a lot of energy and resources and for this reason, most AI providers will charge money for use of their AI models. This is normally billed via an API key. Although you may have obtained your copy of Chasys Photo for free, you are expected to create your own API keys and to meet your own costs for doing so if the provider you are using chooses to bill you.
